Safety Description:Poison by ingestion, skin contact, and subcutaneous routes. Moderately toxic by inhalation. In the presence of alkali, it evolves HCN. Combustible when exposed to heat or flame; can react vigorously with oxidizing materials. To fight fire, use foam, CO2, dry chemical. When heated to decomposition it emits toxic fumes of CN− and NOx.
